Karin Brimhal

Karin Brimhall, PA-C is a board-certified physician assistant who has specialized in dermatology since 2012. She is trained in both general and surgical dermatology. She works at both the East Mesa and Scottsdale locations at Skin Care Specialists.

Education

Karin completed her undergraduate education at Brigham Young University with a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics. She then obtained a Masters of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from A.T. Still University, Arizona School of Health Sciences. She is licensed and board certified through the NCCPA.

Post Grad & Professional Summary

Karin is an active member of the Arizona Dermatology Physician Assistant Society and the Society for Dermatology Physician Assistants. Her areas of interest include the diagnosis and treatment of skin cancer, acne, rashes, psoriasis, eczema, melasma, and sun-damaged skin. She enjoys treating dermatologic conditions in both adults and children. She is also fluent in Spanish.

Outside of Dermatology

Karin has lived in Arizona since 2000. She loves spending time with family and friends, especially her husband Danny. They love to travel, hike, and paddleboard when they get the chance. Other hobbies include baking, playing the piano, participating in service opportunities in the community, gardening, exploring new restaurants, and cuddling with their two dogs, Baxter and Bailey.
